Keck School Of Medicine's innovative curriculum integrates clinical study with basic science and close work with faculty mentors. Students get an outstanding, well-rounded education in the domains of clinical, scientific and research to prepare them to be a leading physician / citizen / scientist, patient advocate, and dedicated to improving the overall health of society.
Service is an important part of your education and begins during the first weeks with critical real-world experience in patient care. Supervised by Keck School faculty, medical students see patients at more than a dozen affiliated hospitals, including Keck Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and LAC+USC Medical Center, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the nation. Boards to wards!
The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a four-step exam that assesses whether or not you’re ready to practice medicine. I've been teaching at Kaplan for more than 15 years!! Okay dudes, settle down...I'm not THAT old!! Each of the four Steps are taken at different points in your medical career and require different levels of USMLE prep. Consider each USMLE Step its own individual exam that you’ll need to prepare for. I teach steps 1, 2 and 3. Check out their courses!

Get in where you fit in...
The Student Doctor Network forums have served the pre-health and health professional community since 1999. Thousands of members benefit from participation in this community. The success of SDN is due entirely to their members, both general members and volunteers. Their forums are moderated by a team of volunteers, who have donated thousands of hours to help students become doctors. All volunteer moderators are required to be active participants in the forums and have proved themselves as helpful members of the community. New moderators are trained on what SDN believes is the best response to any issues that may arise in the community.
